CA Group, the Durham-based building envelope manufacturer, has built a huge distribution warehouse at Houghton Main in Barnsley, using 46,800m² of Twintherm roof, and 6,900m² of Twintherm cladding. To finish the project, 975m of insulated Therma gutter and 650m of the uninsulated were also used. Low air permeability was accomplished without specialist skills or enhanced detailing, according to Stuart McConnell, the group's roofing technical director: 'The low rating was achieved by attention to detail.
