To increase sound performance and reduce reverberation in a lecture auditiorium at Leeds Trinity and All Saints, the building surveyors specified CMS Acoustics' SuperPhon acoustic wall panels.
Comprising a composite construction and fabric finish, the panels reduce noise by impeding the transmission of sound through the wall. They were installed to cover the back wall of the lecture hall, with customised 3000 by 1200 by 25mm panels to fit around windows.
To maintain the aesthetic appearance of the theatre, the company provided its mahonia coloured panels which are connected with Velcro strips and attached to timber battens.Panels are made of cambourne mainline and fabric weave material.
