The UK's largest social housing builder and refurbishment specialist is now specifying cellular plastic fascia, soffits and bargeboards from Celuform for all of its developments. Lovell Homes is exclusively using Celuform roofline products on all projects over the next two years. The company says the move has been taken as it was looking for product consistency.

Within the range of the company's systems are plain and decorative choices, square or bull-nosed profiles, as well as a selection of white finishes and colours such as Expresso Brown, Mahogany, Golden Oak and Ebony in widths of 150-450mm.
Brands that are specified normally include Conquest, Elite, multi-purpose board used as soffit, Duoform, Emperor, and open V-joint and shiplap claddings.
Four new colours have been added to the Celutex shiplap range from Celuform. The pvc-u embossed wood grain finish is now available in warm white, cream, sand, and light green.
Aesthetically, the product looks like timber, but it is resistant to damp, rot, decay, frost or insect attack. Single boards are 150mm and double boards are 300mm wide.

Applied at Bradford's Co-operative supermarket is Celuform's Ebony Elite fascia and soffit boards. The company's product is a 25mm bull-nosed flat backed board which allows direct fixing of rainwater systems and a clean finish. A 450mm fascia was required, so a 300mm and 175mm board was used with a joint. There was step detailing where a second finish was used.
Wood effect shiplap cladding from Celuform's Celutex range has been applied at West Lea Primary School. The double Shiplap pvc-u cladding is not affected by damp, rot, decay, frost or insect attack. Lightweight and flexible, a range of corners, edges, and joint trims is available. Ease of installation is provided by delivery in a protective film.
To facilitate improvements in the efficiency of the maintenance of public sector housing in Ipswich, Celuform will supply roofline and cladding products for homes in the area. The Vanquish range of fascias will be used, which incorporate DuoShield for strength. Vented multi-purpose board will be used to achieve a 12.5mm air gap at eaves, while shiplap pvc-ue cladding will be trialled on some homes.
Replacing old timber fascia and soffit with pvc-ue at a block of flats in Hythe, Kent, has dramatically reduced maintenance, claims Celuform. The replacements are designed to protect against fading and discolouration, needing only wiping down to return to original quality. They are made to withstand extremes of temperature and ultra-violet light exposure
Responding to demand for wood effect cladding, Celuform has extended the range of shiplap products by introducing a new pvc-ue embossed wood grain finish, Celutex. Offering a realistic matt finish, it is available on single or double plank version and is unaffected by damp, rot, decay or frost. The cover width of the plain or embossed boards is 150mm and the double boards are 300mm.
