According to Composite, a multi-storey car park constructed as part of a major mixed use redevelopment in Gloucester is the first in the UK to use circular precast concrete ramps. The car park is a 15.6m clear span with a circular ramp structure at each end. The use of pre-cast concrete meant that the car park element of the project was erected in seven weeks. The two buildings, which are designed with brick and timber elevations, will overlook the waterfront towards the National Waterways Museum.
