Designed to combat the MRSA virus, Contactum now moulding switchplates from a blend of melamine. The company's Aspire and Traditional ranges inhibit the growth of bacterial and fungal organisms by using an amino material. Some 24 hours after exposure to MRSA the switch plates reduce organism survival rate to less that 0.1%. The products are suitable for hospitals, laboratories, care homes and schools.
Designed to complement the company?s traditional, square-edged range, Contactum has added the curved-edge Aspire range to its collection of white moulded electrical wiring accessories. The company believes that the range is easier to clean and can blend unobtrusively with any d?cor. A variety of switches, socket outlets and dimmers is currently available.
