Following the launch of its glass door hardware collection, architectural ironmongery manufacturer Cooke Brothers has increased the range to include other types of hinges, different sizes and finishes.
The stainless steel hinges are available in three styles to complement its Phoenix Loadmaster, Slimline and Concealed Bearing ranges and are suitable for glass doors 10 to 12mm thick and weighing up to 80kg
High performance door hinges, from architectural ironmongery manufacturer Cooke Brothers, have been fitted Jeld-Wen doorsets throughout the new Freedmens Meadow development at Leicester.
An important innovation for some new Cooke Brothers hinges is a new revolutionary hinge bearing system with integral polymer bushes. These are used for their high load-bearing characteristics.
Architectural door hinge specialist, Cooke Brothers, is working in partnership with doorset manufacturer Leaderflush & Shapland on the well known Fortcullis and Yobstopper doors.
For these high security doors, the continuous architectural hinges and gap guards run the full height of the door. With both end knuckles gagged, removal of the central pin is said to be virtually impossible.
Hinges are available in either 12mm cranked stainless steel or 8mm bright zinc plate. They are also available with dog bolts and/or up to 12 wires for electronic door control.
Over 50% of Cooke Brothers continuous hinge production is currently specially designed.
