Fluorescent luminaires from Cooper Lighting and Security have been supplied to the new Matthew Boulton College building in Birmingham.
A supply of nearly 1500 of the company's Crompton Lighting range of luminaries have been installed in the lecture rooms, laboratories, studies, and walkways of the purpose-built premises.
Using over 1000 Moduspec semi-recessed fluorescent luminaires, the company achieved the requisite lighting level of 400 lux with a uniformity of 0.8 throughout all of the building's lecture rooms.
In addition, the company supplied 300 of the new Solstar recessed fluorescent downlights with blue halo glass for the walkways, with Moduwall and Moduseal recessed fluorescent luminaires for restaurant and laboratory areas.
