Expanding its range of external, vandal resistant in-ground uplighters, Designplan Lighting has launched the Centaur range. Designed to provide ground level safety illumination in a wide range of external public areas, the Centaur Square is suitable for lighting pavements, walkways and roads. It is available in two design options, one with a square window within a square trim ring, the other with a circular window within a square ring. Manufactured from marine grade aluminium finished in matt black polyester powder coat, the Centaur Square can withstand significant impact and is suitable for both walkover and driveover applications. The Centaur square is supplied with 5W or 10W G4 or 12W MR11 tungsten lamps or with choice of green, red, blue, amber, white and warm white LED sources. With a lamp life of up to 100,000hr., LED versions are designed for low maintenance
