Hardware from Dom has been employed at the new student residence at Leeds University. The master-keyring system services 500 bedrooms using 700 different keys linked through 80 individually programmed sub-suites. The hardware to operate the system is the company?s RS5 door cylinder. It provides flexibility of security, which is important where there is a mix of different requirements and changing occupancy.

Exceeding CEN Grade 4 and incorporating floating ball technology with six pin operation, Dom UK has launched a new door security system. The ix6SR is a reversible key system which is claimed to make it impossible to pick the lock or copy the keys which incorporate a full floating rolling element. The system is designed to be simple to retrofit, relocate or change. It can be adapted to be electronically compatible by clipping an electronic programmable transponder to the end of the key. The cylinder can be matched to any door fitting, with matt nickel plated or matt brushed brass as standard with five other finishes available.

Electronic door locking from Dom-Nemef-Corbin UK has been installed in a building project created from containers. The Stonebridge Nursery in London is made up of 27 containers, each 6m long. Flexible security is provided by the DOM ELS system, which suits multi-occupancy applications.
