Aimed specifically at the hotel and leisure market, the MOVEO moveable wall system from Dorma is said to be lightweight, easy to operate and enables intelligent, flexible and profitable space utilisation. The system is best utilised at conferences, presentations, dining, training and exhibitions.
For interior glass applications in domestic and retail environments, Dorma has four different solutions.
The Agile 50 is a sliding door system available in a range of colours and with no glass preparation required.
Beyond is a glass door system with pivoting and sliding door alternatives. For sliding doors, it has a round profile fitting and articulated mounting provides equal loading of the two parallel-running rollers.
A flexible modular system is offered with the Manet Concept. This has countersunk, single point fixings with connect and support the glass. The Manet Neu has a 'softer' design and can be installed faster due to its ease of adjustment.
A double-action hinge which eliminates the need for a floor spring and cover plate. The mechanism is integrated within the robust fitting which is installed into the masonry.
Constructed within one of the existing reading rooms, the new Business & IP Centre at the British Library features the Dorma Manet frameless architectural glass door system.
The frameless glass walls and doors of the studios incorporate a film which changes in transparency as it is viewed from different angles, providing a degree of privacy.
Some five Manet pivoting doors are fitted in the area, two in the glass screen between the network area and the reading room and three to the entrances of the Workshop Studios. The product's properties include flush mounting single point fixings and frameless swing doors, bottom pivots, top pivot fittings with pivot bushing and overpanel sidelight connectors.
