A range of moulded thermoplastics wiring accessories to sit alongside its existing MEM ranges has been introduced by Eaton. Called EMA - the Eaton Moulded Accessory range - it features plates moulded from polycarbonate which is claimed to make them extremely robust and resistant to cracking. This is matched by a stylish, modern appearance that the Birmingham-based company says will grace a wide range of residential and commercial interiors.

In order to conceal fixing screws and offer interior designers the ability to select finishes to match the decor, Eaton has launched a range of Clop-on plate accessories. The new line covers a range of wiring accessories ? lighting switches, socket-outlets, fused connection units, 20A and 45A double-pole switches for water heaters, three-pole isolator switches, dimmer switches and 5A round-pin sockets. Products are available in six plate colours ? white, matt black, metallic gold, metallic silver, grey and metallic blue. Designers can also meet Part M of the Building Regulations, which assists with provision for people with physical and visual disabilities.

Glassfibre reinforced plastic enclosures for electrical equipment have been launched by Eaton Electric. The range comprises of ten IP66 dust-light and water-tight enclosures and seven IP56 units in a choice of transparent or opaque covers. Covers are made from durable and uv-resistant polycarbonate.
