Euroclad has unveiled its new space bar system, the Eurobar Extra Mast, the first adjustable spacer system designed to allow for greater insulating flexibility.
The company said the Eurobar Extra Mast can accommodate depths of between 135mm and 280mm, is inherently strong and more efficient than static spacing systems.
Using the latest in cladding technology, Euroclad Facades has supplied rainscreen facade systems for the Auto Technium development in Llanelli. The result is a striking and contemporary facade.
The multi-million pound research and development centre has been finished with an aluminium composite material. Located near the coast, the 2,200m building is subject to harsh climatic conditions making aluminium, rather than conventional steel the more logical choice.
Metal roofing and cladding systems for ProLogis Developments' new distribution centre in Dartford are being provided by Euroclad.
The company's SF500 system, manufactured from Corus Colorcoat HPS200 in Wedgewood Blue, will be used to roof all three of the buildings. Trapezoidal and half-round profiles were chosen to clad the walls because of their "contemporary appearance".
For the roof of Windmill Shopping Centre in Smethwick, the Elite Plus system from Euroclad has been installed. The roof and wall cladding system is a twin-skin roofing solution for slopes over five degrees. The company supplied a steel 32/1000 trapezoidal profile finished in goosewing grey Corus colourcoat. All of the Elite systems are fully recyclable and have non-combustible insulation.
For the Civil Justice Centre in Manchester, Euroclad's Facades division has supplied 8000m? of rainscreen panels.
Constructed of Dark Grey Metallic Alpolic/fr composite material, the panels are part of a detailed and complex facade which features various types of curtain walling. The product was specified due to its ability to offer a consistent colour to the building facade over a large visible surface area and for the flatness of the panels.
Producing an extended curved soffit for a retail zone in Crawley, Euroclad provided its product in order to form the perimeter of a roof for the building.
Constructed from white Alpolic aluminium composite material, the soffit is finished with a tailored bullnose. Columns on all four elevations were faced with black, granite effect material and a finish of 80% gloss.
The granite effect panels weigh 76k/m?, requiring less steel for the fixing grids.
Offering design flexibility, integrated metal building systems have been launched from Euroclad. Elite Systems offer building envelope solutions which are non-combustible, certified and modified. They include standing seam and hidden fix roofing, trapezoidal and sinusoidal roofing and cladding systems. The product exceeds Building Regulations, are non-combustible and fully recyclable.
Set in the heart of Southend, a silver bespoke plank system by Euroclad Fabrications has been applied to the curved stair towers of South East Essex College. Covering some 26,000m? of space, the building consolidates four former education colleges into one building. The system complements the silver panels and Linear facades produced by Euroclad on the building.
In order to fulfil increasing demand for its Linear Facades products, Euroclad has invested in a new, larger facility and extra machinery. The Linear Facade systems are manufactured from Mitsubishi's Alpolic/fr composite materials which offer a large range of colours and finishes. The new facility includes an additional routing table which, the company claims, maintains precise and consistent quality.
Clean lines and technical performance of Euroclad?s Linear fa?ade systems are showcased at a new college in Southend-on-Sea. The Linear fa?ade system was supplied to South East Essex College in Alpolic/fr, an aluminium composite material manufactured by Mitsubishi Products. It is extremely flat and offers good colour uniformity. Working with Mitsubishi Chemical, Euroclad offers its Linear panels in Alpolic/fr with a non-combustible mineral core, allowing panels to meet all UK and European fire safety standards without any restrictions.
To transform a 30 year old building in Hove into a new office block, Euroclad Facades? Alpolic/fr aluminium composite has been used. This material comprises 0.5mm thick aluminium skins laminated to a non-combustible mineral core, and is up to 15% lighter than solid aluminium sheeting with equivalent rigidity. This lightness eases fixing and was a factor in this project.
