Birmingham Hippodrome is replacing its old emergency evacuation chairs with Evac+Chairs to safely evacuate the mobility impaired in a fire event. The slimline airline model, which is narrow enough to push between rows, was specified for the dress circle; the standard model was selected for the stalls. It enables a person up to 150kg to be evacuated.
