Thanks to their sustainability, insulation performance and structural integrity, Tradis panels from Excel Building Solutions were a factor in their selection by Falkirk council for a new primary school extension in Bo?ness, Falkirk. The extension to Deanburn Primary School was designed to accommodate pupils in a structure featuring high levels of sustainability and energy efficiency. Used as infill sections in the steel frame superstructure of the building, the panels needed to be selfsupporting up to 5m high. Made offsite, the panels are based on an engineered timber 'I' beam frame, sheathed externally with Panelvent sheating board and internally with Paneline. Warmcel 500 insulation is also used.
