Developed to install Warmcell 500 insulation into plasterboard-sheathed timber-framed walls, Excel Building Solutions has developed its TurboFill insulation system. The system employs a smaller TurboFill nozzle, enabling internal and external pressures to be more closely matched. This prevents excess pressure being exerted on the plasterboard from the inside of the panel, while ensuring the density of the Warmcell is optimised. The TurboFill injection nozzle - which resenbles a Formula 1 refuelling rig - is docked to the wall panel by means of pre-drillied access holes in the plasterboard, through which the Warmcell 500 is injected. A pressure sensing system ensures the void is filled to the correct density.
