As well as providing building materials from sustainable sources and minimising the environmental impact, Excel Building Solutions' Warmcel insulation also assists in the reduction of heating bills.
Manufactured from recycled newspaper, Warmcel cellulose fibre insulation is created using a mechanical process to transform the newspaper back into its raw fibrous state. It has a low embodied energy and is free from CFCs, VOCs and can boast zero ozone depletion potential.
The product's low thermal conductivity delivers insulation performance, enabling Part L of the Building Regulations to be met more easily. High levels of airtightness also prevent thermal convection currents.
It is available for the insulation of walls, floors and 'warm roofs' in timber frame homes, and for loft insulation.
