Disabled people can be offered independence in the bathroom with the Geberit Balena 8000 AP Care shower toilet. The unit functions as a WC and a bidet, as well as providing other devices. A push button activates a spray of water, at body temperature. This is followed by warm air drying, providing paper-free cleansing. It can be programmed to run a pre-set sequence and operate 'hands-free'. An infra-red remote detects movement and activates the sequence of shower and dryer automatically. A separate remote control unit means the user can adjust the unit's functions to suit their needs. For additional comfort, a soft seat can be specified.
