Representing the largest single investment in operational activities by the company, Geberit has opened a new factory at its Aylesford site. The expansion and technological upgrade has included a purpose designed manufacturing unit, the expansion of the extrusion plant, the relocation of injection moulding and prefabrication and reorganisation and expansion of all production operations. The project has taken 40 weeks to complete and was planned in order that supplied had not suffered disruption. The Ambassador of Switzerland, Alexis Lautenberg and Jonathan Shaw, MP for Chatham and Aylesford opened the new facility.
