HRH Crown Prince Frederik presented Grundfos with The Danish Design Award for their new series of SEV and SEI professional wastewater pumps, in a recent ceremony in Copenhagen. The family of pumps received praise and recognition from the judges for designing "a really good and well thought out construction that demonstrates a high level of user involvement". They further commented, "the product proves that Grundfos is uncompromising and they continue to demonstrate that industrial design can be incorporated into a product whilst maintaining a appealingly safe and elegant appearance. Wastewater pumps are used in conditions that mean they need to function effectively for long periods without a service, and when the pump does need to be maintained or serviced it needs to be a quick and simple operation to undertake.
