Fall protection systems are available from Icopal under the Anderson Monarlex brand, with the KwikLine cable-based system revised to include Latchway's Constant Force post technology. This transfers the load from the structure of the building to the roof deck. FireSmart Therma Screed from Anderson Monarflex is a tapered, non-combustible insulation/ screed which, the company says, will last the lifetime of the building. The product is an lightweight insulating concrete that encapsulates the insulation providing a surface on which to lay waterproof membrane whilst at the same time providing protection for the vulnerable insulation from direct flame. One of the systems main advantages is that it uses stepped insulation boards dispelling the need for conventional cut to falls tapered boards, providing positive roof drainage.
