Disability access ramps from Jones of Oswestry have been specified by Manchester City Council's housing department to meet site constraints at high rise accommodation blocks. Three steel Supraramp systems - one measuring 27m - meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and Part M of the Building Regulations along with the Council's 'Design for Access' specification. One ramp has a gated step system from the top landing and one has an integral flush-fitting access cover. Fabricated from 6mm structural steel plate, the systems were post-galvanised with Duragalv 70.
