Three historic properties in Wilmslow have been restored to their former glory after the use of Marley Eternit's clay tiles. Specifiers chose Marley Eternit's single chamber Acme clay plain tiles to create an authentic look for the 19th century half-timbered mansion house, coach house and small cottage on Stanneylands Road, overlooking the River Dean. Brian Hughes from developers, Eatonfield said: "Our in-house design team specified Acme clay tiles because we wanted to achieve the visual appeal of a traditional roof with ease of fitting and time-efficiency. "With this development, our aim was to extend and refurbish the properties in a manner befitting their location in protected woodland, so we wanted to choose a roofing material that blended in with both the natural and historic surroundings."
