An anti-ligature model has been added to the range of bathroom pods designed and manufactured by Offsite Solutions. The anti-ligature features of the newly designed pod include Corian surfaces, taps, and toilets that operate by sensor rather than by conventional fittings. The design meets the specific demands of projects - particularly hospitals and mental health facilities - where protection from harm is required, without affecting the privacy or functionality of a bathroom space. By bringing the anti-ligature features into a single design it avoids specifiers sourcing their specification from different manufacturers, and subsequently has proven to be a cost-effective solution for many new-build developments, the company claims.
