Stone effect luxury vinyl tiles from the Polyflor Expona art and design collection have been used in the refurbishment of the reception area of the modern humanities building at De Montfort University, Leicester.
Incorporating both inset signage and geometric designs, complementary egg shell terrazzo and silver slate colourways were used for the main floor areas. To create the contrasting insets, the water jet cutting techniques of the Polyflor Expressions Design service was employed.
Offering a choice of 30 timber and 30 stone design effects, rustic/distressed and fruit tree styles can be implemented with designs including Wild Cherry, Walnut, Appletree and Sandstone, Treadplate and Rusted Metal.
