High performance letterplate systems from Royde & Tucker are said to provide both fire, smoke and acoustic protection. The company said the systems meet the requirements set out in Part E and Part B of the Building Regulations.
The letterplate systems, which are suitable for fire doors rated to FD30s and FD60s, ensure the fire door integrity is maintained, protecting the occupants and property against smoke and fire damage.
Letterplate systems from Royde and Tucker meet the acoustic performance required for compliance with Part E of the Building Regulations. It achieves the 29dB/Rw sound reduction criteria and exceeds the standardised test when tested in conjunction with Raven RP55 smoke seals. For 54mm thick doors, the system achieves 31dB/Rw. The finishes available include stainless steel, anodised aluminium and polished brass.
