Offering clean aesthetic lines, and compliance with Part M, Royde & Tucker has launched a flush mounted version of its Anza bolt. The concealed door bolt is flush mounted into the leading edge of the door, as opposed to the door leafs surface. This makes it particularly suitable for installations where users may have difficulty operating traditional lever action type flush bolts.
Anti-ligature hinges by Royde and Tucker have been tested and approved to industry standards.
The company's Hi-Load anti-ligature hinges are designed to preclude self-harm by preventing a ligature being secured over the knuckle or between the door and doorframe. They feature chamfered edges and a security faceplate fixed through the hinge leaf using tamper resistant Resistorx screws.
Two versions of the product are available: H102 and H125. Both have been approved to grade 4 of the DHF Technical Specification 001: Door mounted anti-ligature devices for Safety and Security Purposes.
H102 is a 100 by 72mm triple knuckle butt hinge in stainless steel with a maximum weight loading up to 120kg. The larger version, H125, is 125 by 102mm with a weight loading of 160kg.
