City Thameslink station's Ticket Office has been refurbished with Sonic Windows products. The installation has eliminated wide framing and extended the glass area to provide greater light and space which blends with the existing high-finish surrounds in the station. Counter tops have been rounded and to each of the two Ticket Stations lower level windows have been added for wheelchair access. The bullet resistant glazing offers staff protection against theft, attack, germs and draughts. Induction loops are fitted to the windows for the benefit of those with hearing aids, and recessed 'cashflow' trays are used for the exchange of money.
