The opening of the newly refurbished Southampton City Cruise Terminal included the installation of more than 4000m² of carpets and contract vinyl materials from Tremco Illbruck. Multi-functional sealing, bonding and insulating polyurethane foam from Tremco's Tremfoam range provides users with a gap filling and bonding foam. A one-part, moisture curing, polyurethane expanding foam that is waterproof and resistant to chemicals, it can be used to fill cavities around doors and window frames and for bonding and repair work. Protecting the structure and its interior spaces from water ingress, Tremco's Hi-Therm system has been used to effect repairs to Manchester's Midland Hotel's leaking roof. Hi-Therm was used together with the company's liquid applied Tremco LWS to address complex detailing around a kerb and guardrail at the roof's edge. A liquid applied system was specified as there is a 300mm high wall around the perimeter with cast iron railings which would have been difficult to dress with felt.
