£7m of supported housing developments in Manchester set for completion

Regeneration and energy specialist ENGIE has announced the completion of three developments across Manchester, that will help support people with learning disabilities live more independently.

Working with partners Great Places Housing Group, Mosscare St Vincent, Manchester City Council and Homes England, ENGIE has led the design and construction of the three two-storey schemes, known as; Northfield Road in New Moston (£2.7m); Dalbeattie Street in Harpurhey (£1.6m) and Constable Street in Gorton (£2.8m).

With a total value of £7m, the three separate projects have created over 60 one-bed, self-contained apartments, along with communal areas, sensory rooms, sensory gardens and a seven day-a-week on-site support team. The high-quality developments are also fully wheelchair accessible and the accommodation can be easily adapted to meet a wide range of needs that may change over time.
