Selco and Euramax Solutions enjoying the benefits of partnership

A long-term partnership between PVCu window, door, and composite door manufacturer Euramax Solutions and Selco Builders Warehouse is strengthening every year – and is proving beneficial for both.

Euramax Solutions is a leading supplier to the leading UK national builder merchants’ network and has been supplying Selco for 14 years.

The Barnsley-based company supplies windows and doors to all 71 branches nationwide, with the UK’s fast-growing builders merchant set to open another branch at the beginning of December.

And for Nicola Miller, who manages the Selco account and is Head of Customer Service at Euramax Solutions, it’s a partnership that is growing.

“The challenges of the last 18 months highlighted a lot of areas where we needed to work closer together, and this has increased during the last six months to make sure they are getting exactly what they want,” said Nicola.

“Selco’s new Category Manager Mark Richards has been great to work with, he understands the industry and our challenges, and we understand his, and there has been real success in meeting in the middle.

“What makes the partnership so successful is Selco’s approach to their market which is to have their products on the shelf. Selco customers can go in and collect our products there and then, so there are no delays.”

For 2022 and beyond, Euramax Solutions is looking at providing a full website refresh with Selco to make the information available more user-friendly to the core trade professional customer and reviewing the product range with the wider group, to see what they can provide to bring more growth next year.

Nick Cowley, Euramax’s Managing Director, said: “Our goal as a supplier is to build the best relationship we can with our builders’ merchants by working with them and looking with them at their roadmap for next year to see what products we can offer to fit in with it, not just through Euramax but under our parent company Modular Group Investments Limited (MGI).”
