The newly refurbished three-storey building, named Jigsaw Workspace, provides private office accommodation ranging from four to 24 desks. Facilities include kitchen areas, reception space, meeting rooms, on-site parking, and a ground-floor TV and podcast studio.

Offices will be available to rent from February, with flexible terms aimed at start-ups, growing businesses, and established firms seeking modern office space with strong transport links.

Andrew Scott, who developed the workspace, said the location was chosen to meet the needs of businesses looking to balance accessibility with a local base.

He said: “Jigsaw is located at Worle Park Way business park, two minutes from the motorway and next to Worle mainline train station, with Bristol Temple Meads around twenty minutes away and London reachable in under two hours by train.”

He added: “It’s an ideal location for ambitious businesses, with a retail park, supermarket, and hospitality within walking distance. Weston-super-Mare town is close by and serves a population of almost 100,000 people.”

Scott is CEO of The Ascot Group, a Worle-based technology and marketing group employing almost 100 people. In 2023, he sold his national media company, Business Leader, to Sir Richard Harpin.

The workspace is intended to support local employment while offering practical office accommodation. Scott said, “Jigsaw is office space, but it is also about creating a business community and supporting local jobs.”

Office demand and location context

Hybrid working continues to support demand for regional serviced office space across the UK. Many small and mid-sized businesses are now choosing rail-connected local offices over city-centre locations to reduce commuting time and costs while maintaining access to key transport routes.

With Worle’s mainline train station directly next door, Jigsaw Workspace provides an easy stop for commuters travelling locally or into Bristol. Nearby amenities include a supermarket, food outlets, and the Summerhouse public house located opposite the site.
