Purplex becomes BBSA member following agency appointment
Purplex Marketing has become a member of the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA), strengthening the agency’s position within the UK’s shading sector.
The move follows Purplex’s appointment earlier this year as the BBSA’s marketing agency, with where it is already delivering a programme of work designed to raise the association’s profile.
Purplex has now created a full brand refresh for the BBSA, including a new logo, strapline and brand guidelines. The agency has also worked on the association’s website, social media, literature and digital marketing, with its first three months of paid search and social activity generating 1.39 million impressions and more than 54,000 clicks through to the BBSA website.
Andrew Chalk, Operations Director at the BBSA, said: “It’s great to have Purplex Marketing as part of the BBSA. Since we started working together, the team has taken the time to understand who we are, what we stand for and what we want to achieve, and that understanding is already making a real difference to our marketing.
“Having Purplex become a member as well strengthens that relationship further. They bring valuable marketing expertise to the sector, but they are also genuinely interested in understanding the needs of our members and helping us communicate the value of the BBSA more effectively.”
Joining the BBSA gives Purplex a closer connection with an industry it has identified as an important area for future growth, as well as greater opportunities to engage directly with businesses across the blind and shutter supply chain.
Andrew Scott, founder and CEO at Purplex Marketing, said: “We’ve worked closely with the BBSA since being appointed earlier this year and it has given us an excellent understanding of the association, its members and the wider blind and shutter market.
“Becoming members ourselves is a natural next step. We want to strengthen our position within the sector and build relationships with more businesses that could benefit from the expertise and experience we bring to construction and home improvement marketing.
“We’re also particularly interested in helping BBSA members make more of their own marketing, whether that means strengthening their brand, generating more visibility or creating a more consistent flow of enquiries.”
The BBSA membership follows hot on the heels of Purplex and partner company Insight Data becoming Associate Members of the Construction Products Association (CPA). Together, the two memberships give Purplex a broader view of the construction products market, from wider economic and industry trends through to the specific challenges facing the blind and shutter sector.
