Last homes for sale as work draws to an end at Newent development
Just ten homes now remain for sale at a new housing development in Newent, as the finishing touches are made to the final properties on site.
Bellway Wales is coming to the end of construction at Picklenash Grove, off Ross Road, where 48 three, four and five-bedroom houses have been built for private sale, along with 32 one, two and three-bedroom affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Over the past two years at Picklenash Grove, more than 55 residents have moved into their completed new homes, with work on site set to be completed by March.
The housebuilder is also finalising work on the development’s public open space, which includes a play area with a trim trail, a pond and a sports field.
The last remaining properties for sale at the site include a choice of four and five-bedroom detached houses, with prices starting from £374,995.
Two showhomes – the four-bedroom Windsor and Wenvoe house types – are available to visit at the site on a strict appointment-only basis. There’s also a four-bedroom Westlake view home to further help house-hunters envision what life could be like in a new home at the development.
Sales Manager for Bellway Wales, Carly Maidment, said: “It has been a pleasure to watch a thriving new community begin to form in Newent, with the much-needed homes here catering to a whole range of buyers, including first-time buyers, families, and commuters attracted by links to Gloucester and Bristol.
“We are now selling the final selection of properties at Picklenash Grove, and as we aren’t expecting these homes to remain on the market for long, I would encourage those interested in finding a new home in Newent to get in touch with our sales team or visit our website as soon as possible.”
