Light Projects and Wibre make a splash in the UK

London-based manufacturer, Light Projects, has announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with German underwater lighting specialist, Wibre. Wibre is a manufacturer of underwater and exterior lighting fittings.

The partnership commences with the introduction of Wibre’s CENTUM range in the UK, offering one of the highest underwater lighting outputs in the industry at 166 lumens per watt.

Roger Beckett, research and development director at Light Projects and Wibre UK product manager, commented: “We have been working with lighting designers and the construction industry for over 30 years, helping on a diverse range of underwater lighting schemes. Now, with inclusion of Wibre, we can offer some of the highest output and most efficient LED modules available, creating more possibilities for specifiers from private homes through to large scale commercial projects.”

CENTUM includes built-in and surface-mounted underwater spotlights. The light sources used are particularly powerful and compact LED modules available in 3000K, 4000K and 6000K as well as RGB-W and Dynamic White.

Wibre products sit perfectly alongside Light Projects’ own ranges and also complement RobLight’s fibre optic lighting solutions also exclusively distributed by Light Projects in the UK. It makes Light Projects one of the most knowledgeable, complete and qualified companies in the UK for underwater lighting product solutions.

To illustrate the improved lumen output of CENTUM, Light Projects will be showcasing the range at Spatex 2019 (January 29-31, Ricoh Arena, Coventry) – visit them at stand B57. Roger Beckett will also be holding a seminar at Spatex on January 29 at 10.00am, talking about how to enhance pools and spas with underwater lighting.
