Door-Stop makes a Sweet addition to its range

Door-Stop International has introduced the new Sweet hardware range to its standard offering.

Sweet is available in four colours; gold, chrome, black and white. The edgeless design is said to create a smooth and simple appearance, with the letterbox, house numbers, door handle and knocker reportedly adding a ‘contemporary’ appeal to the door.

Patrick Dean, head of sales and marketing at Door-Stop International, said: “We’re one of the first to bring anything like this to the market and we’re excited about it. The hardware is suited which means that all of the pieces are perfectly matching, not only in colour but in design too, with every element following the same registered curved design ethos. The range removes the traditional frame from the letterbox and the house numbers also don’t require any screws, adding to the overall smooth feel of the collection and the door as a whole.

“Sweet will now be offered as standard on all of our Door-Stop doors and it comes with a 10-year guarantee, which is offered directly to the homeowner and cuts out the installer in the unlikely event of any of the elements requiring replacement.”

Sweet has been weather-tested for 20 times longer than the required EN 1906:2012 corrosion standard; it has been ‘hammered’ with salt water for over 5,000 hours and it is still said to look ‘great’ after it.

Nick Dutton, CEO of Brisant Secure, the company behind the Sweet range, said: “We’re delighted that Door-Stop have become one of the first to endorse and adopt Sweet. They can see the ever-growing appetite for better products in terms of appearance and performance, which is great news for their customers, along with the end consumer.”
