REHAU heads to Newcastle with Specifi

REHAU will be in Newcastle in October to showcase two new products at its fourth Specifi event. It is the first time REHAU has exhibited at the UK’s only built environment roadshow and is attending five events nationwide throughout the year.

The Specifi events are attended by industry speakers, specifiers, installers and technical experts who spend time discussing projects, products developments and innovations with several built environment brands. At this event, speaker Martin Brown will be giving a talk on sustainable future.

REHAU will be exhibiting at the Newcastle Specifi event on October 3, at Newcastle United Football Club from 4.30pm until 10.30pm. At the event, the team will be showcasing the Rautitan plumbing system, a 10-bar pipework solution designed for drinking water and heating systems, which launched at the end of 2017 in the UK.

The flexible PE-Xa Rautitan pipework system reportedly delivers on durability, corrosion-resistance and ease of installation. It is available as a standard PE-Xa pipe but also a multi-layer PE-Xa pipe. It is fully WRAS certified as hygienic for drinking water and its smooth surface prevents deposits forming while cavity-free impermeable joints are said to ‘eliminate’ the risk of microbial contamination. It is ideal for large multi-occupancy or commercial projects as an alternative to traditional materials.

Also, on the stand will be REHAU’s two pre-insulated pipe ranges – Rauvitherm and Rauthermex. Both PE-Xa pipes are said to be suitable for use in district heating, biomass, biogas and heat pump applications. Rauvitherm is also the only PE-Xa district heating pipe manufactured in the UK.

Rauthermex features PU foam, which reportedly makes it ideal for large district heating installations over long distances where minimising heat losses is critical.

REHAU will also be featuring its new acoustic soil and waste solution – Raupiano which will be launched in the UK later this year. The Raupiano product reportedly offers 17dB acoustic performance, 120-minute fire protection, ‘high’ chemical resistance and a 2-bar rated push-fit jointing system.

Drew Clough, product manager at REHAU, said: “We’ve really enjoyed the three Specifi events that we’ve attended this year. Not only do we hear from great speakers, we also get to share information about our products, which have been very well received.”

Specifi is a free event in partnership with CIBSE YEN. Entrance is free to the event, which takes place from 4.30pm until 10.30pm. There are only 100 seats available, to book your seat visit www.specifi.co.uk or to find out more information on REHAU go to www.rehau.uk
