Headline sponsor announced for UK Roofing Awards

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) announced SIG Roofing as headline sponsor for this year’s UK Roofing Awards.

The event’s grand final, taking place at Park Plaza in London, will be hosted by BBC Breakfast Presenter, Steph McGovern, and the voice of the National Lottery, Alan Dedicote.

The Awards covers all roofing disciplines, and runs from October to January every year. It is open to all who are involved in roofing, and entries are judged on degree of difficulty, aesthetics, problem solving, health and safety, workmanship and environmental issues.

James Talman, chief executive at NFRC, said: “As hosts of the Awards, we are delighted and excited to once again welcome SIG Roofing as our headline sponsor. As always, its aim is to recognise and reward outstanding standards of workmanship, technical excellence and safety across all aspects of roofing.

“This year’s Awards take on even greater meaning as they coincide with NFRC’s 125th anniversary – an amazing milestone for any organization.”

Andrew Wakelin, managing director at SIG Roofing, said: “We are passionate about supporting the roofing industry and the desire to drive innovation and quality workmanship is at the very heart of our business. That’s why we are so committed to the work that the NFRC is doing with The UK Roofing Awards, and we are proud to once again be the headline sponsor.”
