Rehau heads to London with specifi

Polymer pipes specialist, Rehau is gearing up for the final Specifi event set to take place in London, this November. It is the first time Rehau has exhibited at the UK’s only built environment roadshow and this event marks the fifth and final in a series of Specifi events that Rehau has been a part of this year.

The Specifi events are attended by industry speakers, specifiers, installers and technical experts who spend time discussing projects, products developments and innovations with several built environment brands.

Rehau will be exhibiting at the London Specifi event on November 21. Rehau personnel will be on stand to take visitors through the brands Rautitan plumbing system, a 10-bar pipework solution designed for drinking water and heating systems, which launched at the end of 2017 in the UK.

The flexible PE-Xa Rautitan pipework system is said to deliver on durability, corrosion-resistance and ease of installation. It is available as a standard PE-Xa pipe but also a multi-layer PE-Xa pipe. It is fully WRAS certified as hygienic for drinking water due to its cavity-free joints and smooth surface that stop deposits forming. This reportedly eliminates any risk of microbial contamination. It is ideal for large multi-occupancy or commercial projects as an alternative to traditional materials.

Also, on the stand will be Rehau’s two pre-insulated pipe ranges – Rauvitherm and Rauthermex. Both PE-Xa pipes are suitable for use in district heating, biomass, biogas and heat pump applications. As well as this, Rauvitherm is the only PE-Xa district heating pipe manufactured in the UK.

Rauthermex features high performance PU foam, which minimises heat-loss over long distances, making it ideal for large district heating installations.

Rehau will also be featuring its new acoustic soil and waste solution – Raupiano which only recently launched in the UK. The Raupiano product offers 17dB acoustic performance, 120-minute fire protection, high chemical-resistance and a 2-bar rated push-fit jointing system.

Drew Clough, product manager at Rehau, said: “It’s been a privilege to be a part of the Specifi events that have taken place across the country this year. The events have given us a platform to engage with knowledgeable speakers and also discuss the latest innovations in the industry today. We have also been able to introduce visitors to our advanced product portfolio which has been very well received.”
