Global Solar Council – CEO – Jodie Roussell

The Global Solar Council has selected Jodie Roussell to be the Council’s new chief executive officer, which will start on 1 August 2017.

Jodie said: “I am honoured to have been elected as the Global Solar Council’s next CEO. It is a privilege to be part of an organization dedicated to building the global solar industry’s markets, developing innovative skills training and doing its part to enable solar energy to serve as a transformational tool for healthy and sustainable communities.”

Prior to her current role as head of public affairs for Trina Solar in Europe, Africa & Latin America, Jodie was co-founder of the American Council on Renewable Energy and the European campaign the Alliance for Affordable Solar Energy. She also served as head of energy utilities & technology at the World Economic Forum, and led Strategy & Corporate Development at JA Solar.
