DW3 sold to Masonite International in £70m deal

NorthEdge Capital has completed the sale of DW3 Products Holding Limited (DW3) to Masonite International Corporation, a global designer and manufacturer of interior and exterior doors for the residential new construction, the residential repair, renovation and remodelling and the non-residential building construction markets.

Led by CEO, Gareth Mobley, DW3 is a UK provider of door and window systems, supplying products under brand names such as Solidor, Residor, Nicedor, and Residence. Solidor’s online offering, includes a door designer and a specialised online portal, which allows trade customers to specify and purchase products online. DW3 employs approximately 300 people located in Stoke-on-Trent and Gloucester.

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Masonite serves more than 7,000 customers in 65 countries and posted net sales of $1.52 billion in the first nine months of 2017.

DW3 will expand Masonite’s UK operations.
